Information on LAFCO

In the next few months, LAFCO (Local Agency Formation Commission) will be holding hearings called "Municipal Service Reviews" by County regions; the West County sub region will be on the agenda. If you are interested in getting out from under the Richmond Sphere of Influence or would like to see El Sobrante be a separate city, i.e. incorporated, please attend. The LAFCO meeting addressing this issue will likely be held in October 2008. Agendas go out about a week prior to the meeting.
